Post-Election, Back to Business

Quite a lot of time has passed since my last post, mostly because I have been focusing on my To Do List items that went unaddressed during the run-up to the presidential election! It was quite exciting, though I am happy that it is finished. In the final days of October, I would spend entire afternoons on political blogs, leaving my own business matters, the laundry, the yard work (oh, the leaves!), etc., until another day. My family would happily report that since Nov. 4, I have been hard at work away from the computer, and the pile of fall leaves on my curb is prodigious in its girth.

Of course, there is always more to say about politics. Just because the election is decided does not mean the rest of it goes away. But, for now, I will let such commentary go. I'm tired of talking about it. I'm sure you all are tired as well (if you're not, let me know!).

This month, I am working on a new business that my mother and I are launching concerning children's books. If you haven't already, please consider answering our survey over at SurveyMonkey.com: Click Here to take survey. As I am writing this, we have 72 responses and we would love to make it an even 100. As our development, well, develops, I will tell you all more about this new activity.

That's all for now. The temperature has dipped below freezing for the past few days and I still need to winterize the sprinkler system!

Why doesn't your husband take care of the leaves and sprinkler system for you? Guys love that stuff!

Okay, you caught me! True, my husband took care of the lion's share of the leaves (after all, there was motorized equipment involved!). Thank you, Dear, for keeping me honest.
